Being with those who are growing I don’t disagree. But we must beware the temptation to think we know what it means to be “growing”; both for ourselves and others. It is entirely possible that what we “think”is growth may just be the ego donning fancier, wordier, prettier “clothing” when in fact the need is to get (Be) naked!!

Very Tricky! Very Tricky! If the light is needed where the darkness is, then just hanging out with people who are growing can cause more separation. There are times we need to be with like minded people. But surely our challenge to grow must be to learn how to be present without judgement with those who are not growing – or who are not knowing how – so that we don’t get caught up in anything unhealthy and they may feel safe enough to consider to listen to an implulse to grow that will be coming from within themselves. If the light is not needed where the darkness is, then surely there would have been no need for Christ, Buddha and others like them to have walked this earth. Their work now continues through us.

Its common that lets say folks who collect baseball cards enjoy the company of like minded….or Star Trek lovers….yet
When does one think they will be evolved enuf to be able to extend/radiate acceptance …will it be any other time other then now?
Boundaries may be called for when you notice that your neighbor has the police there each week….but do you side step on the sidewalk at any glance. I live in an area where spiritual talks ,centers, methods are quite available. And I have noticed that some characters can be so knee deep in becoming , ie ,taking in so many retreats and yet in the moment spontaneity, humor, curiosity are simply buried . Plain and simple friendliness and a spirit or whole some ness isn’t a head job.
