Creativity Thank you. I have been interested in creativity since reading Willis Harmon’s book, Higher Creativity and studying with Robert Fritz in the 80’s, Technologies for Creating. I too agree that we open and get out of the way. We “create” only by our intent and our attention. When those are in alignment with the present moment, it becomes possible to open to the movement the moment is calling for. Deep listening, integrity and humility seem the attitudes important to cultivate. But to then to experience the joy and wonder of limitless support and inspiration that is possible is to bow in gratitude to the truly awesome divine reality sustaining us. Terry’s delusion Terry,
It appears that underlying all your work is a deep and abiding interest in improvement, betterment and guiding others in approaches to making their lives other than their ‘this’. It is one way of earning a living but how do rest at night knowing that you are involved in a huge scam.
You must know that all we all have in this life are memories and the experience of photons of light in contact with objects and viabrations giving us sound and further that all of this is coming out of a QuantumField of randomly fluxing
particles dancing around without any concern for the theories and stories that we make about their dance because we
haven’t had more than the instant of the moment of present experience appearing and immediately disappearing. The
discoveries made by the LHC have proven that that is all there is. Until a light spark appears and imprints itself on film there is no evidence that there is any there there. This is what we have been designed to do with the photonics that constitute our reality. All we are able to do is make up a story of continuation out of a sequence of disappearing experiences and use our memory to fashion a word construct and convince others that something happened.
Terry, nothing is really happening, it is all a language construct, that has no meaning. Remember the dinasours, what
was the meaning of all that ? The fluxing field is simply fluxing, tell the truth, no one has a direct line into the mind of that field if there even is one.
(Almost) Everyone’s Delusion Thanks for clearing the field, Frank!!!!!!!! Seems to me that in our human attempt to understand, navigate, anchor, and redeem our lives, we attach to concepts via language constructs, memories and stories. Perhaps they serve as stepping stones on a path.
Actually I feel an ultimate liberation in living/being the photonics versus conceptual constructs , none of which hold water – er – light. I thereby resonate more fully with the entire universe. I feel my own yogic path and spiritual inquiry has led me precisely there.
Franks De-Delusion perspective You appear to have a nice perspective Frank, but taking shots at Terry for wanting to reduce the suffering in this “illusionary” world puts him in the good company of Christ, the Buddha, Mother Teresa and millions of others around the world. Try telling a person having a panic attack that there panic isn’t real. Try telling the people dying from various diseases it’s all an illusion. Its nice you appear to have transcended this reality and that could have been a nice contribution here, in contrast to those of us caught in the world of samsara. Unfortunately your perspective on, and smearing of, Terry’s dedication and service to the world comes of arrogant and condescending and either as delusional or a type of spiritual bypassing, which is unfortunate.

Creativity Thank you, Terry, for sending out this brief, but very important, talk on Creativity. So many of my students and clients believe, truly believe, they are not “creative” — because they aren’t drawn to crafting or painting, etc. Many of us get stuck in the idea that creativity is found only in the visual arts. And, yet, the way we think, the way we move, dress, speak — they can all be infused with the creative impulse. Yes, if only we just “get out of the way” and learn to listen deeply to the inner Self.

I caught me a feather
Light as air
it drifted beside me.
Wow!
I heard me a whisper
Light as air
It caressed my sweet small ear.
Oh My God!
I thought it was over
But the mystery poured over me

It covered my sacred self.
And I thought it was all over.
