We spend so much of our lives avoiding pain and heartbreak. Understandably. But to the extent that we cut ourselves off from the darker tones of our human experience, by armoring the heart against pain, we surrender our access to the fullness of the light, to joy and to ecstasy.
In this brief video, I suggest that we are served by both heartbreak and celebration. Learning how to celebrate in a way that is connected to the Mystery, that lets us then grieve everything, both the lows and the highs, letting ourselves be crucified by this incredible life — that is Enlightenment. Not the serene one on the mountaintop. But the open, ragged heart that is weeping endlessly for all the world AND is also rejoicing endlessly, alive to the totality of this mad adventure of being human.
Human beings are feeling beings, and our feelings are the source of our intelligence through which our soul recognizes itself.

Inspiring!
Thank you, Terry! This beautifully points out a way of being that I experience sometimes but that is not fully integrated. And it hit me at a moment I most needed to hear it, to be reminded in an inspiring way of what it means to fully participate in life. Much love and gratitude to you!

Beautiful and wholly hearted! Thank you, Terry for speaking directly into Me/We! I share your vision and celebrate your passion… Brought back memories of the rivers and ruins and rooms of our lives’ passages! Blessings and love, Jeremy

Thank you
Oh finally! To hear this inner longing in me ‘externally’ spoken by you! I admit I lose confidence when I feel alone in this sense of life. I let myself doubt my own experience, yet it is so filled with vitality. Thank you so very thoroughly for speaking for the fullness of the human experience/existence. Tara

Black Holes Welcome All (and never loses its appetite)
Listening to you, Terry, is very soothing and, morale wise, encouraging with strong voice. I like the feeling (plus, every Terry I’ve met, I’ve gotten along with.)
I wonder if there’s anybody walking around who is powerful enough to scatter the various possessing spirits (familia and external)–alienating feelings felt with endless chatter, the causes of our mistakes–through just being in the vicinity (supermarket). Objective PROOF: Perhaps seen with meds having a higher statistical rate of effectiveness? Perhaps seen with our “hearts” feeling as light as a feather?
(Exorcism is about friendliness and collecting debt from the possessing spirits.)

Thank you Tara, Jeremy, Bill,
Thank you Tara, Jeremy, Bill, Rochelle and Brandon. I appreciate hearing how this video resonated for each of you. This teaching, for me, is one of the richest and most liberating, even though it’s right at the crux of what’s most challenging to engage. Love, Terry
